M6 traffic LIVE updates as lanes CLOSE and queues build up
Traffic is building on the M6 following a crash in Greater Manchester.
Two lanes of traffic have been closed on the northbound carriageway between junctions 25 at Wigan and 26 at the Orrell Interchange.
Delays are building up approaching the scene ahead of rush hour this morning (October 1).
A post from the Inrix traffic monitoring service said: "Two lanes closed and queueing traffic due to accident on M6 Northbound from J25 (Bryn) to J26 M58 (Orrell Interchange).

"Lanes one and two (of four)."
Traffic is tailing back to junction 24 at Ashton-in-Makerfield, Google traffic data shows.
Further details about the incident are yet to be confirmed.

Drivers are also facing queues on the opposite side of the M6 this morning.
There are delays opposite the crash scene, further south near to junction 23 at the East Lancs Road, and approaching the M62 at junction 21A.
