LIVE: England football legend Stuart Pearce's son Harley, 21, dies - latest updates

The son of football legend Stuart Pearce has tragically died.

The former England international is grieving over his son, Harley Pearce.

It is reported that Harley lost control of the farm vehicle on a country road near his family home in Wiltshire.

The former Manchester City defender's 21-year-old son has been killed in a tractor crash, as the tractor he was driving suffered a possible tyre blow-out which caused him to veer from the road, the Daily Mail has reported.

Harley, 21, died at the scene in Witcombe, last Thursday, Gloucestershire Police confirmed.

The force said his parents have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.

Investigating officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or has any relevant dashcam footage to get in touch.

Information can be provided to police online, quoting incident 284 of October 16.

Manchester City, one of Stuart Pearce’s former clubs, posted on X: “Everyone at Manchester City sends their love and thoughts to Stuart and his family at this very difficult time.”

In March, former England and Manchester City defender Stuart had a health scare on a flight, reports the Daily Mail.

He experienced chest pains on board a flight from the United States, where he had been watching the Super League match between Wigan and Warrington.

The Las Vegas to Heathrow flight was diverted to St John's in Canada and he spent five days in hospital recovering.

The Daily Mail has reported on a tribute left at the scene by Harley's girlfriend, Holly Watts, which reads: 'To my hunny, the man I'll love forever!
