A forensic tent is in place outside the Manchester Arndale car park this afternoon.
The tent has been erected close to the entrance of the shopping centre car park on Shudehill. A cordon has been put in place around the area.
A number of emergency services vehicles are on the scene, including police cars and ambulances. The air ambulance also reportedly landed nearby amid the incident.

Greater Manchester Police have confirmed they are responding to an incident following reports of a concern for welfare. A man is being taken to hospital and is receiving treatment for potentially life-threatening injuries.
