LIVE: Stretch of busy road closed off after crash - latest updates
A stretch of a main road in Manchester city centre has been shut off this morning after a crash.
Trinity Way is currently closed on the southbound carriageway, according to Transport for Greater Manchester. It has been shut near the junction with Water Street.
Congestion is building up to the incident. A tweet posted by TfGM said: "A6042 Trinity Way, Salford is closed southbound at Water Street due to a road traffic collision.
