LIVE: Delays as lanes shut on M60 after 'multi-vehicle crash' - latest updates

Delays are building on a stretch of the M60 this morning after a 'multi-vehicle crash'.

Two lanes have been shut off on the anticlockwise carriageway near junction one for Stockport Pyramid, according to traffic alert service Inrix. Lanes two and three are currently closed.

Congestion is building up to the incident, with queues back to junction four. Traffic is also slow on the clockwise side.

A tweet posted by MancTraffic said: "M60 ac/w within j1 queues and at least 2 lanes closed by a multi-vehicle collision. Traffic is just about squeezing through. Congestion to j3 and ac/w very slow with onlookers to j24 with the morning peak."
