LIVE: Streets taped off near Greater Manchester town centre following 'stabbing' - latest updates

Officers have taped off two streets near a Greater Manchester town centre following a 'stabbing'.

Police are in attendance on Durden Mews and Market Street in Shaw, Oldham, this morning (June 16).

The Manchester Evening News understands officers are responding to a stabbing that took place on Sunday evening.

Images from the scene show multiple GMP cars parked up at the scene, while officers are manning the cordon.

A large section of Durden Mews has been taped off, including a car park.

A footpath between Market Street and Durden Mews also appears to have been sealed off by police this morning.

Further details about the incident are yet to be confirmed.
