LIVE: Road taped off after 'elderly pedestrian hit by motorbike' - latest updates
A road has been closed off following a serious crash in Oldham.
Both an elderly pedestrian and a motorcyclist have been injured in a collision on Middleton Road, in Chadderton, the Manchester Evening News understands.
Emergency services were called out to the scene at around 9.35am this morning (August 25).
It’s understood that the pedestrian has suffered serious injuries following the incident.

Greater Manchester Police confirmed it is responding to a serious collision.
A section of Middleton Road has been taped off between Milne Street and Melbourne Street.
Images from the scene show at least three GMP vehicles in attendance.
A cordon is in place on the road outside Farmfoods and Home Bargains, with some debris seen on the ground.
