LIVE: Road closed and large cordon in place on Greater Manchester street - latest updates

A road has been closed in Rusholme following an incident in the area. Multiple police officers and paramedics are on Heald Place this evening (May 30).

Photos from the scene show multiple cars inside the police cordon with uniformed officers securing the scene near a local primary school. The nature of the incident is unknown.
