LIVE: Greater Manchester road CLOSED after crash 'involving car and bike' - latest updates
A busy Greater Manchester road has been closed in both directions following a crash.
Emergency services are in attendance on Ashburton Road West, in Trafford, this afternoon (June 18).
It follows a crash involving a car and a motorbike, which was reported to emergency services at 11.15am.
Greater Manchester Police says a male motorcyclist, whose age has not been confirmed, has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
No arrests have been made.
A closure is in place on the B5214 Ashburton Road West between Guinness Road and Nash Road, through the industrial area of Trafford Park.
