LIVE: Police tape off building site with air ambulance scrambled - latest updates
Police have taped off a building site in south Manchester this afternoon (Tuesday, March 4) following an incident. Officers are currently in attendance on Greenheys Lane in Hulme.
An air ambulance was also scrambled to the scene and pictured after landing nearby. Police tape was seen surrounding an entrance at the roadside.
Multiple police vehicles and vans were pictured in attendance this afternoon with officers seen standing guard beside the cordon.

The police tape has sealed off an entrance to the building site.
A man was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after 3pm.
A spokesperson for GMP said: "Shortly after 3pm this afternoon (Tuesday 4 March) we were called by NWAS to reports of concern for welfare of a man on Greenheys Lane, Manchester.
"It’s believed that a man has fallen from a significant height, and suffered a cardiac arrest. Despite the best efforts of those at the scene, the man has been pronounced deceased.
"A scene remains in place whilst we respond. "
An air ambulance has also been scrambled to the scene this afternoon and has landed nearby.
Further details about the nature of the incident have not yet been confirmed.
The police scene is in place off Greenheys Lane in Hulme, where construction work is ongoing at the Manchester Science Park.
Police tape appears to have surrounded a metal entrance to the site, opposite a block of flats and row of shops.
