LIVE: Police and fire crews block residential street following incident in north Manchester - latest updates
Police, paramedics and fire crews are currently in attendance following an incident in north Manchester this evening. Emergency crews have blocked Brookfield Road, in Crumpsall.
A police car can be seen at the entrance to the residential street off Ash Tree Road, with a number of other police and fire service vehicles in attendance.
Onlookers can be seen in video footage watching on as fire crews appear to be focusing on a semi-detached house along the street.
Further details about the incident have not yet been confirmed by emergency services. Greater Manchester Police and the Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service have been approached for a comment.

Nine people have been rescued from the burning house in Crumpsall this evening.
Four people are understood to have self-rescued from the property, with five others saved by the fire service upon arrival.
The nature of their condition has not yet been confirmed.
A large scene remains in place this evening with fire crews and police in attendance.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: “At just before 6.20pm today (Thursday 13 March), fire crews were called to reports of a fire at a domestic property on Brookfield Road, Manchester.
“Four fire engines from Gorton, Hollins, Stretford and Salford quickly attended the incident and are using three hose reels, six breathing apparatus and one positive pressure ventilation fan to extinguish the fire.
“Crews are working alongside colleagues from Greater Manchester Police and North West Ambulance Service to make the area safe and remain in attendance.”
A part of the street has now been cordoned off following a fire at a house.
