LIVE: Long queues on stretch of M62 as two lanes shut - latest updates

Long queues are building on a stretch of the M62 this morning with two lanes shut.

Two lanes are currently closed on the westbound carriageway. They are shut between junction 22 for Rishworth Moor and junction 21 for Milnrow, according to traffic alert Inrix.

Lanes one and two of three are closed. Emergency repairs are being carried out at the scene.

Traffic is building up to the incident. Motorway cameras show long queues forming up to the partial closure.

All lanes have now been reopened on the M62.

There is still some queueing traffic up to the previous closure.

Two lanes are shut on the westbound side.

They are closed between J22 and J21.
