A major Salford road is currently closed in both directions following a crash involving a motorbike and a pedestrian. Police and firefighters are currently at the scene on Albion Way, between The Crescent and Liverpool Street.
People are being urged to stay away from the area while emergency services carry out their work. The condition of the people involved has not been confirmed following the collision.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said: "Firefighters are currently supporting police at the scene of a serious road traffic collision on Albion Way in Salford where a motorcycle has collided with a pedestrian. The road is closed and people should avoid the area while the incident is ongoing."

A Transport for Greater Manchester spokesperson tweeted: "A5063 Albion Way, Salford is closed between The Crescent - Liverpool Street in both directions due to a police incident. Please find alternative route.
"Delays are expected on The Crescent and Regent Road." Greater Manchester Police and North West Ambulance Service have been approached for comment.
