Leicester City given huge Youri Tielemans boost as they eye £28m prize

Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl has confirmed Fraser Forster will not be available for Sunday's Premier League game with Leicester City.

The goalkeeper has been ever-present for the Saints this season since returning from injury in December, but missed Tuesday night's 2-1 home defeat to Liverpool due to back, joint and knee problems.

It means Hasenhuttl is likely to hand Alex McCarthy another start after the Englishman returned to the side on Tuesday.

Leicester City hope to welcome back Youri Tielemans and James Justin into their squad for the final game of the Premier League season after they were absent from the side that drew at Chelsea.

The pair were left out as part of four changes made to the team at Stamford Bridge. Luke Thomas came in for Justin, while Daniel Amartey was brought in as an extra centre-back in place of Tielemans.

The Belgian had been a doubt going into the game after coming off worst in a 50-50 at Watford at the weekend, and that proved to be his issue. Justin, meanwhile, was expected to feature, but came down with illness.

Antonio Rudiger’s lunge on Wesley Fofana prompted Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers to ask the fourth official why a red card was not shown.

The Chelsea defender received only a booking from referee Stuart Attwell when he jumped in two-footed midway through the second half. Thankfully for Fofana, there was no contact.

And that may have helped Rudiger’s cause, as Rodgers pointed out to the fourth official that it was similar to a challenge by Salomon Rondon at the weekend. The Everton striker was sent off when he dived in with both feet off the ground during the Toffees’
