Leeds United supporters rate the players after Wolves win as Aaronson and Klich impress

Leeds United started the new Premier League season in a winning fashion, defeating Wolves 2-1 at Elland Road. The Whites came from behind in the game, with a goal from Rodrigo and an own-goal from Rayan Ait-Nouri ruling out Daniel Podence's early strike.

After the game, we gave LeedsLive readers the chance to rate every Whites player out of 10. The average scores are here, and these are the main talking points:

LeedsLive readers gave Brenden Aaronson an average rating of 8.2 - the highest of any Whites player. It was an impressive debut from the American, who arrived from Red Bull Salzburg this summer to link up again with Jesse Marsch.

Aaronson was cruelly denied his first Leeds goal in the win. It appeared he'd prodded home Patrick Bamford's low cross in the 74th minute, but the goal has been officially awarded to Wolves' Ait-Nouri. However, even though he's still waiting for his first goal, Aaronson was still the star performer in the win according to LeedsLive readers.

Mateusz Klich replaced Rodrigo as a 65th minute substitute, and had a game-changing impact. There has been speculation that the Poland international could leave Elland Road this summer, but LeedsLive readers have made it clear that they believe he was one of the main protagonists in the Wolves win.

Klich, who came on with the scores level, showed calmness on the ball and helped Leeds regain their lead just nine minutes after coming on. He was one of the star performers, and with teams now allowed five substitutes in the Premier League, he proved his worth from the bench.
