Joe Hart leaves Celtic huge void to fill as pundit says TWO keepers needed after Jack Butland success story

Joe Hart will leave Celtic with huge gloves to fill with one pundit suggesting they will need to sign TWO goalkeepers during the summer.

The Hoops No1 announced the major news earlier today that he would be hanging up his gloves at the end of the current campaign when his contract with Brendan Rodgers' men comes to an end. The 36-year-old, capped 75 times by England during his career, has been the undisputed first choice since Ange Postecoglou brought him to the club and he has continued that role this campaign under the new managerial team.

Hart has been a key player for the champions both on and off the park with his experience and influence just two big credentials he brings to the table. His form in recent weeks during Celtic's struggles has also landed him big praise and major backing from the supporters with many joining a host of his team-mates past and present to wish him all the best after revealing his big news.

The veteran will be determined to finish his career on a big high by winning the league title and Scottish Cup with Stephen McGinn hailing Hart. He reckons experience could be an avenue to explore with past examples working for both Celtic and Rangers. Allan McGregor left Ibrox and was replaced by Jack Butland and that free transfer has proved a major coup for the Light Blues and the Go Radio pundit believing that Rodgers and Co will need to get their thinking caps on to get the right man between the sticks to replace Hart.
