Caoimhin Kelleher destined for Celtic transfer as tipsters make Liverpool exit destination call

Celtic are now clear favourites to sign Liverpool keeper Caoimhin Kelleher.

The Hoops have been heavily linked with the Irishman who still has two years left on his Anfield contract but the Carabao Cup hero shotstopper could move on from Merseyside in search of regularl first-team football.

Brendan Rodgers has already admitted Celtic could be in the market for TWO goalkeepers in the summer with Joe Hart set to hang up his gloves. And according to safebettingsites.com Parkhead is Kelleher’s most likely destination. However, the Cork-born 25-year-old could command a transfer fee of around £20million. Kelleher has been at Liverpool since he joined their academy in 2015 and is a proven Premier League performer.

And English top flight rivals Nottingham Forest and Wolves are next on the odds list. Neil Roarty, spokesperson for safebettingsites.com, said: “Caoimhin Kelleher’s performance in the Carabao Cup final and subsequent future has been one of the many subplots to emerge from Sunday’s drama, with Celtic looking like potential suitors should the Irish goalkeeper leave Liverpool this summer. The Scottish champions are the 9/4 favourites to be Kelleher’s next club, followed by Premier League outfits Nottingham Forest (3/1) and Wolves (7/1).”
