Jimmy Thelin in brutal 3 word Duk update as wantaway Aberdeen outcast gets short shrift

Jimmy Thelin has issued a blunt three word update on Duk.

The Aberdeen boss has made the perfect start to life at Pittodrie as he bids to keep up his 100 per cent record this weekend when Kilmarnock make the trip to the Granite City. Bojan Miovski is off to Girona for a big money fee as the Dons look towards Kevin Nisbet as his successor, as revealed exclusively by Record Sport The Dons remain in talks with Millwall over a loan deal for the former Hibs hitman while they are also in the market for another central defender.

But one player who looks to be on the way out is attacker Duk. His direct power and pace was a real weapon in his first season but his second campaign wasn't as fruitful in terms of numbers and he is now seeking a way out of the club. When asked the latest on his situation, Thelin said: "No, I have nothing new to say." Pressed on whether Duk is with his squad, he bluntly responded: "He's not here."

Elsewhere Reds want to snap up highly-rated Marcus Younis from Western Sydney Wanderers. The 19-year-old has caught the eye of the scouting team at Aberdeen and boss Thelin. He is viewed as a top talent and the Scottish Premiership side are prepared to shell out a significant six figure sum to get him on board now. Finnish winger Topi Keskinen has also just arrived from HJK this month and made an instant impact in the Premier Sports Cup win over Queen's Park to book a spot in the last eight.
