Kevin Nisbet tells Millwall he wants Aberdeen FC transfer as English Championship suitors swerved

Kevin Nisbet has told Millwall that he wants to join Aberdeen.

Record Sport broke the story last week that Jimmy Thelin had made the Scotland striker his top target. The Dons are currently in talks over a loan deal for the season. Nisbet has made it clear to the Lions' hierarchy that he wants to make the switch to Pittodrie. There is also English Championship interest but his preference is a return to Scotland.

Nisbet is keen to get back playing and to force his way back into the national team squad. The 27-year-old feels moving to on-form Aberdeen can help him achieve that. Nisbet missed the last Euros because he was coming back from serious injury. The striker also has a proven goalscoring in the Premiership with Hibs.
