Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville disagree on Liverpool vs Man City Premier League clash

Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville can't agree on how Manchester City's Premier League clash with Liverpool will go as the title races heats up.

Liverpool, managed by Jurgen Klopp, will host champions, Manchester City, at Anfield on Sunday afternoon. The Reds are top of the league, but only one point ahead of Manchester City.

Arsenal, who are in third place and two points behind Liverpool, will also be watching this game closely. They hope that either Liverpool or City might make a mistake that they can benefit from.

This game could decide who wins the Premier League title this season. But Carragher and Neville can't agree on what the result will be after 90 minutes of play, reports the Liverpool Echo.

The former Liverpool defender thinks his old side must win this game to keep their hopes alive of winning the league in Klopp's last season as manager.

Speaking on The Overlap Fan Debate, Carragher said: "I feel as if Liverpool have to beat City at the weekend for me to sit there and go 'I think Liverpool are going to win the league'. I think I will believe that if Liverpool go four points clear with 10 games to go."

Neville shared his thoughts: "I think City are going to beat you (Liverpool) but I want Liverpool to win because I want the league to be opened up. I think City are going to win on Sunday, I think he's going to come and put a right job in."
