ITV This Morning's Rochelle Humes admits crush on 'handsome' EastEnders villain

This Morning's Rochelle Humes couldn't hide her blushes on Wednesday (July 31) after she made a surprising soap admission live on air.

Chatting with EastEnders actor Shiv Jalota, who portrays Vinny Panesar on the popular BBC soap, Rochelle confessed to having a bit of a crush on one of the characters.

Her co-host, Dermot O'Leary, drew parallels between the current plot involving Vinny and his father Nish Panesar (played by Navin Chowdhry) to the acclaimed TV series Succession.

He joked: "Oh yeah Succession comes to Albert Square. Why is it always the old businessmen that drink shots and are in shorts in the pub as well? ".

"Like 'I'll have my whiskey', you're like, what? At 12 o'clock in the afternoon? ! ", reports the Mirror.

Rochelle interjected with a compliment for Nish, saying: "Very handsome though Nish. Nish is very handsome."

Dermot looked at her in disbelief, prompting Rochelle to affirm: "Yeah, he's lovely."

Dermot went on to describe Nish as a silver fox, but ITV's Sharon Marshall was not impressed by Rochelle's comment, responding with a head shake: "He's a bad boy! ".

Despite being aware of Nish's less than stellar reputation on the square, Rochelle seemed unfazed, countering: "It's the eyes though Sharon! ".

The storyline currently unfolding on EastEnders has seen Vinny trying to outmanoeuvre Nish to take control of the family business, with Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) also involved in the drama.

Shiv Jalota discussed the intense family power struggle with the This Morning presenters, hinting at more explosive developments to come.
