ITV This Morning fans issue demand as they call for new presenting duo to 'replace' Ben and Cat

This Morning viewers have demanded that Josie Gibson and Rylan Clark become the show's official presenters permanently.

The pair, stepping in on Monday and Tuesday, won over audiences as they temporarily took the helm from regular hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard.

In the absence of Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary, who are also taking their own hiatus, fans on X were quick to make their preferences clear this Tuesday.

One fan enthused: "Josie and Rylan are a great Duo As iconic Host Together Please make them permanent #ThisMorning."

Another viewer chirped in their agreement, tweeting: "I wish @Rylan presented This Morning every day! It's fun to have him with Josie as well. #ThisMorning," reports the Mirror.

A third admirer shared: "Lovely seeing Rylan on #ThisMorning, a breath of fresh air," and another chimed in, praising: "#ThisMorning Must say @Rylan and Josie are looking lovely this morning!"

"Keep Josie and Rylan it's the first time I can watch again! #thismorning," expressed another content follower.

One more insisted: "#ThisMorning make them permanent. Josie and Rylan make the show worth watching.. Ben and Cat are not suited together nor individually for this show!"

Last week brought another twist as Josie joined Craig Doyle on air, following appearances by Dermot and Alison before they announced their break.

As July ended, Dermot informed his colleague Rochelle Humes that he would be off the airwaves until September.

Dermot exchanged a heartfelt embrace with Rochelle, expressing his gratitude by saying: "Thank you very much," to which she replied: "It's been lovely."

He then confirmed his time off, announcing: "So I'm back with Ali [Alison] in September on the first Friday so I guess that's the 6th."
