This Morning's Rochelle Humes issues apology as she 'wells up' on air

This Morning's Rochelle Humes experienced an embarrassing moment on live TV Monday when she was momentarily distracted during a show segment about employers contacting staff outside of working hours.

In the midst of the conversation, guest Ashley James initiated a point about the necessity of maintaining a proper work-life balance and mentioned how countries like Denmark and Holland set an example. As she delved into her sister's work experiences in Holland, where leaving at a decent time was standard practice, Rochelle caught Ashley's attention with an unexpected interjection.

Ashley recounted: "I think what Labour are trying to improve is that work-life balance and actually when you look at lots of other countries and how they do things. I think Denmark and Holland are two of the leading countries for having that work-life balance."

Observing Rochelle's peculiar expression, Ashley stopped to as: "Are you going to sneeze?" The 35 year old presenter quickly cleared up the confusion with a lighthearted response, saying: "Sorry I'm just holding a sneeze in!"

Adding to the humour, she assured everyone that the urge to sneeze had subsided, after co-host Joel Dommett speculated that she might have been responding to a more serious matter, reports the Mirror.

She remarked: "I held it in, sorry, I'm so passionate about it."Joel, mimicking tears, added: "I thought you were welling up!"

Ashley then apologised once more for the interruption and continued her discussion on the importance of a healthy work-life balance in other nations.
