ITV Dancing on Ice viewers split over 'interesting' Ricky Hatton routine

Ricky Hatton made his Dancing on Ice debut with a Rocky-themed routine which didn't go down too well with the judges.

Dressed in a boxing outfit, Ricky who is known as The Hitman, wore elbow pads as he referenced boxing moves on the ice and did press-ups to Rocky movie theme tune Gonna Fly Now by Bill Conti with his skating partner Robin Johnstone.

The judges were less than impressed with the janky routine as he received a total score of 12.5 points from the judges and he will be in the first skate-off next week. However, judge Ashley Banjo remarked: "Ricky Hatton on ice is iconic, you should be proud of yourself".

Others were not so complimentary with @markbelfast89 writing: "I love Ricky Hatton!! One of my favourite ever boxers to watch through the years but dancing on ice. What's he
