"I'm told" - Journalist now drops major update on Pogba's Man Utd future amid huge Juve decision

Juventus could turn towards Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba as they prepare for life after Paulo Dybala, says transfer insider Dean Jones.

Dybala is set to leave the Allianz Stadium at the end of the season when his contract expires in a development that could see the Old Lady make a move for their former player Pogba.

Several journalists, including GOAL’s Romeo Agresti, claimed earlier today that Dybala would not be signing a new deal at Juventus, with both parties deciding it would be best to part ways.

It is a huge blow for Massimiliano Allegri, who will be going into the 2022/23 season without arguably his best player.

Dybala joined Juventus from Palermo for £23m back in 2015 and has been a revelation for the Italian club.

In 283 appearances, the Argentina international has scored 113 goals and provided almost 50 assists, a very good return.

As for Pogba, who played alongside Dybala during his days at Juventus, the Frenchman is also in a very similar situation at United. As things stand, he is also set to become a free agent this summer.

With Dybala heading towards the Juventus exit door, Jones has told GIVEMESPORT that the Serie A outfit may now turn to Pogba, whose wages should not be a problem if his former team-mate departs as expected.

Speaking to GMS, the football journalist said: “I’m told to watch out for Juve looking towards Pogba now that the situation around Dybala has become clear. This opens up the wage structure of the squad and I see this as another Pogback story in the making.”
