Ronaldo hits back at Rooney suggestion over Man Utd future
Cristiano Ronaldo has called Wayne Rooney “jealous” after his former team-mates suggested that Man Utd should look to move him on in the summer.
The Red Devils signed Ronaldo, Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane in the summer transfer window with many expecting those transfers to propel Man Utd closer to challenging for the Premier League title.
However, it has not gone according to plan this season with Ralf Rangnick’s side looking increasingly likely to miss out on the top four.

Ronaldo has still managed to contribute 18 goals in 32 matches but has fallen below his usual standards of almost a goal a game in recent seasons for Juventus and Real Madrid.
