Hurting Connor Goldson issues 2 regrets as Rangers hero posts emotional farewell address

Connor Goldson admits it hurt to have to break his self-imposed social media exit to say his emotional farewell to Rangers after a six-year Ibrox stay and regrets that he didn’t win more silverware during his time at the club.

The defender signed a three-year deal with Cypriot side Aris Limassol and posted a lengthy statement after admitting it was “time to get off the train and the ride that we have been on together”. Goldson was signed by Steven Gerrard in the summer of 2018 from Brighton & Hove Albion and earned his place in Ibrox folklore as a member of the No. 55 title-winning team and the team that reached the Europa League Final in Seville.

And as he said his goodbyes, Goldson said in an emotional statement: “Thank you Glasgow Rangers.
