BBC Breakfast's Naga Munchetty shares emotional farewell as she admits 'I'm bereft it's over'

BBC Breakfast presenter Naga Munchetty shared her sense of loss as the Olympics wrapped up, admitting she feels "bereft" now the games have concluded. On Saturday's broadcast, Naga and Charlie Stayt engaged with a host of Olympic medallists, including trampoline star Bryony Page.

Naga expressed during the show: "Hello. You're watching Breakfast with Charlie Stayt and Naga Munchetty."

Charlie added: "Just coming up to 8:30 and we've spoken a little bit about how we're missing the Olympics."

Highlighting one of the unforgettable moments, Charlie pointed out that a significant performance in trampolining was by Bryony Page, who secured Team GB's first-ever Olympic medal in the discipline.

Following the reflection on her win, Naga said to Bryony: "Thank you, because you've brought so much joy to the whole of Team GB, and we... I am bereft that it's over but I am looking forward to the Paralympics."

In response, Bryony stated: "I'm looking forward to the Team GB homecoming tonight because we're going to be celebrating with all the team and I haven't seen them since we left, so it'd be really nice to see them all again.

"And of course, the Paralympics that are coming up because I've got friends in there that I want to watch as well. So yeah, really looking forward to it."

During the programme, Naga
