Hull City player ratings vs Nottingham Forest - Jacob Greaves the star as Nathan Baxter shows value
Shota Arveladze's Hull City were never going to let the season end with a whimper, and so it proved on Saturday when they recovered from Brennan Johnson's injury-time penalty to salvage a 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest.
In front of the biggest league crowd at the MKM Stadium in five years, Lewie Coyle's curling effort moments after Johnson's penalty capped a crazy end to the season, and a deserved point against the play-off side.
Here's how City reporter Barry Cooper rated the Tigers players against Steve Cooper's Forest at the MKM Stadium:
Nothing to do in the first half. One relatively simple stop at the start of the second. Could do little about the penalty, but made a couple of crucial saves just before. 8/10
Slotted back into the side with ease and looked much more like the Elder of last season. A player I'd be wanting to keep around the place next season. 7/10
Stuck manfully to his task on the right of the three, especially up against the tricky Mighten. 7/10
Excellent early challenge on Mighten, and continued that throughout the first half and into the second. Superb display. 9/10
Important block late in the first half to deny Mighten, and battled hard all afternoon. 7/10
Kept things simple in the first period, and alongside Slater, delivered a solid display in the heart of the midfield against Garner and Cafu. 7/10
Tried to get on the ball, worked tirelessly as usual but struggled to make a huge impact in the final third given how tightly he closed down. 7/10
A couple of nice forays forward, but gave a very disciplined display in the engine room alongside Smallwood. That's a useful partnership building there. 7/10
In and out in the first period, didn't really have the sort of impact he'd have hoped for on
