Hull City facing crunch Manchester United and Chelsea decisions as campaign ends

Hull City's loan contingent are facing a crucial two weeks as the Championship season nears its conclusion. The Tigers have a host of players on short-term deals which will effectively come to an end after the final day clash with Nottingham Forest on Saturday week, with a raft of key decisions to be made by Shota Arveladze and the club's hierarchy.

Allahyar Sayyadmanesh, Liam Walsh, Nathan Baxter, Di'Shon Bernard, and Marcus Forss have all arrived on temporary deals at the MKM Stadium, and have enjoyed varying levels of success with the Tigers, who can now plan for a second season in the second-tier after securing their survival on Good Friday.

In the case of Allahyar, City will almost certainly make his move from Turkish side Fenerbache permanent with a fee already agreed with president Ali Koc, but there remains significant doubt about the remaining five.

Seven clean sheets in 14 league appearances in a newly-promoted side is a testament to how well Baxter has done since getting into the City team for the first time at Barnsley in October. The Chelsea loanee looks a top prospect, and there's little doubt the Tigers look a better unit with him in goal - and that's no slight on the excellent Matt Ingram - City are fortunate to have two very good goalkeepers vying for the number one shirt.

Baxter himself faces a big decision this summer; does he believe he's got a genuine chance of breaking into the first-team scene at Stamford Bridge or does he cut his losses and look to set down roots at a club like City, where he has a realistic chance of becoming a number one for a prolonged period of time.
