How Manchester United should line up vs Leicester in Premier League fixture

Manchester United take on Leicester in the Premier League on Thursday night.

United beat Southampton 1-0 at the weekend to record back-to-back wins in the league for the first time since February. Ten Hag's side started the season with two humiliating defeats, but progress seems to have been made, which has been encouraging.

Bruno Fernandes' brilliant strike earned United the three points against Southampton. United were not at their best at the St. Mary's Stadium, but they defended with determination and they head into this match against Leicester with momentum.

Leicester have struggled this season and they are currently bottom of the Premier League. The club is yet to sign a single player this summer and they have just lost key player Wesley Fofana to Chelsea this week, to make matters worse at the King Power Stadium.

United did not play anywhere near well enough at Southampton to merit an unchanged side tonight, even against a winless Leicester.

The back four should remain the same and Casemiro has to come in for Scott McTominay as he is a better midfielder. United have to select with Arsenal on Sunday in mind but they have to focus on getting the Leicester game won, so Christian Eriksen and Bruno Fernandes line up again.

The decision to name the same front three at St Mary's was not vindicated and switching Jadon Sancho and Anthony Elanga was illogical. Cristiano Ronaldo coming in with Sancho on the right and Rashford on the left is a more imposing attack.
