Manchester United transfer news LIVE Man Utd fixture news as Arnold 'disagrees' with Ten Hag plans

Today is the second day of the international break as members of Manchester United's first team link up with their respective national sides.

Countries have named their squads for this month's matches that will take place over the next two weeks, before club action for United and City resumes with a mouth-watering Manchester derby on October 2.

United will have 19 players taking part in either the UEFA Nations League or international friendlies, with Scott McTominay likely being the first Red involved for their country when Scotland play Ukraine this Wednesday.

Eyes may well also be on Raphael Varane's time with the French squad, after United were recently linked with a move for not only Antoine Griezmann, but also Benjamin Pavard - who recently refused to rule out a move to Old Trafford in the future.

Ramos, 21, has scored eight goals in 12 games this season.

United are already planning for the next transfer window, but are reportedly split on their policy for it.

The Athletic say that Erik ten Hag wants to make more signings in January, but chief executive Richard Arnold wants to wait until summer.
