Hollywood star Julia Roberts says she's 'possessed' by Manchester United

Hollywood superstar Julia Roberts has revealed how she is "possessed" by Manchester United. She says her whole family huge are now huge superfans of the team.

The Pretty Woman star has been regularly spotted at Old Trafford in recent years, and even famously took her shoes off to walk the hallowed turf back in 2016.

Speaking on the BBC's Graham Norton show on Friday night, the Oscar winning star has now revealed how she came to be such a passionate Red. Julia is based in California and lives with husband, cinematographer Danny Moder, and their three children.

But she said she tries to get to matches at Old Trafford as often as she can. She also caught them on their US tour back in July when she also got to meet the team in New York.

Talk show host Graham asked her how she came to be a Man United fan. She said: "I have three children and when they were really little and watched it on TV we all just got so into it. And somehow Man United became our team, the Moder family team, and we became possessed."

Pictures were flashed on the screens in the studio of Julia meeting United striker Marcus Rashford (as seen here below). As well as a photo of her being presented with a "Julia" shirt by manager Erik Ten Hag.

Julia was on the talk show couch alongside US superstars Cher, Tom Hanks and Timothee Chalamet. And fellow Oscar winner Tom also revealed on the BBC show how he came to be a fan of Aston Villa.
