Holly Willoughby ignores This Morning backlash as she cuddles up to husband in rare PDA

Holly Willoughby has ignored backlash to her This Morning absence as she took to social media with a new snap of herself and her husband. The presenter was 'missing' from the ITV daytime show on Monday (June 26) with Josie Gibson and Craig Doyle both filling in for the star.

While there was no explanation for her day off, which irked some viewers, Craig did confirm that the 42-year-old blonde beauty would be back on screens as normal from Tuesday (June 27). However, it did come after she was spotted sporting a festival-ready look as she boarded a helicopter alongside her husband Dan Baldwin and some pals and jetted to Glastonbury.

Holly was snapped heading to the huge festival in Somerset wearing a pair of denim shorts and a chic, colourful jacket said to cost £1,000, which she paired with some chunky black boots.

She topped off her look with a large hat and a pair of oversized sunglasses as she headed to the three-day festival, which was headlined this year Arctic Monkeys, Guns ‘n’ Roses and Sir Elton John. TV producer Dan, who has been married to the presenter since 2007, opted for a more casual look, wearing a simple pair of shorts and a T-shirt as he joined his wife on the helicopter ride.

Holly and Dan were later reportedly spotted enjoying the weekend's festivities with former footballer Peter Crouch and his wife and model Abbey Clancy.
