This Morning viewers say 'this is ridiculous' as Taylor Swift ticket fever takes over

Not everyone appeared to be joining the latest Taylor Swift tour ticket chaos as they saw some of it unfold on This Morning. During the programme on Tuesday (July 11), viewers could see some fans of the singer trying to secure a place at one of her upcoming UK shows live in the ITV offices.

This morning (Tuesday), fans have had another chance to snap up tickets to see Taylor here in the UK. The Bad Blood and Shake It Off singer is stopping off for 13 dates across London, Liverpool, Edinburgh and Cardiff as part of the European leg of her Eras Tour in June and August 2024.

And it was today that presale tickets for all three shows at Anfield Stadium, Liverpool, and two shows at Wembley Stadium, London, went live meaning fans found themselves virtually battling for a ticket.

So Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary wanted to see what was going on and a couple of Taylor fans were invited down to try and bag their tickets while live on This Morning. At one point Aliosn, 48, interrupted the ITV show to excitedly confirm: "It’s happening. Who is it? Rhian have you got some tickets?"

And it's fair to say their guest looked absolutely thrilled as Rhian confirmed: "I have." Dermot, 49, then applauded while Alison, who had spotted Rhian glued to her phone, joked: "Look she won’t even talk to me she’s telling all her mates."

But concerned Rhian may have not bagged the tickets after all, a worried Alison asked: "Have you definitely got those tickets?" to which she replied: "I should have. I’ve just got to put the code in and I should be able to start buying them. This is exciting.’ Alison then jokingly admitted: "I’ve got a tear in my eye over
