Alison Hammond says 'I've arrived' as fans rush to show their support after dividing with new This Morning job

Alison Hammond declared to fans 'I've arrived' and was quickly flooded with support. The This Morning star decided to make her presence known on the new social media site Threads.

The Meta app, from the company behind Facebook and Instagram, was launched earlier this week and is works as a text-style format which encourages users to post updates and join public discourse, similar to Twitter.

And Alison, who has been quiet on her social media platforms ever since the scandal surrounding her former co-star Phillip Schofield broke back in May, decided to make her entrance on the app by posting a stunning snap.

The 48-year-old could be seen sporting a hot pink dress that flowed over her curves before finishing at her shins. To top off the all-pink look, she added a light pink blazer before accessorising with a statement necklace.

The photo had been taken in the This Morning studio last week after she and Dermot O'Leary were joined live in the studio by Amanda Hall, who has committed to being a full-time Barbie due to her incredible likeness to Margot Robbie who is taking the starring role in the upcoming Barbie film. She was joined via video link by Kitten Kay Sera who lives in her pink home in Hollywood and has only worn pink clothes for over 40 years.

"I've arrived," Alison posted on Threads alongside the Barbie-inspired image. Responding to the post, one fan said: "Lovely to see you over here." Another commented: "PRAISE BE!!! Let's go!!!" A third replied: "The Queen is in the building people, this is not a drill!"
