Hibs fans cause Fir Park damage amid Premiership defeat to Motherwell
Hibs fans have caused serious damage to a section of seating at Fir Park following their defeat to Motherwell this afternoon.
The capital side brought 1,804 fans to Fir Park for the Premiership clash, but a minority of that support let their frustrations get the better of them as their side returned to Edinburgh empty-handed after a 2-1 loss.
Pictures on social media show a portion of the seating at the front of the Tommy McLean Stand badly damaged, with rows of seats twisted and broken.
Second half strikes from Conor Wilkinson and Mika Biereth proved enough for the Steelmen to run out winners, as a late penalty from Adam Le Fondre proved to be a stoppage time consolation for Lee Johnson's side.
