Gorka Marquez sends two-word message to BBC Strictly Come Dancing co-star after viewers' 'should' message

Gorka Marquez had a simple two-word message to his Strictly Come Dancing co-star after they were flooded with 'should' messages. The Spanish dancer got a starring role in the ballroom on Sunday night (December 3) alongside Jowita Przystal.

Gorka, who left the competition in week three alongside BBC Asian Network presenter Nikita Kanda, and Jowita, who also left the competition earlier in the series with Paralympic champion Jody Cundy, were part of the opening number for the latest results show that wasn't a results show after all.

Only four couples performed during the live show after major changes had to be made following Nigel Harman's sudden exit from the competition. The actor and his professional dance partner Katya Jones had to withdraw from Strictly 2023 after he sustained a rib injury that left him in A&E.

But the show went on and the remaining couples still performed for the judges' scores, which will be carried over to the semi-final as there was no dance-off or elimination. The results show, however, did go ahead with hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkelman simply calling it a 'Musicals weekend'.

The show saw the usual pre-planned performance from the show's group of talented dancers as well as a musical performance from Joss Stone. Tess and Claudia were also seen chatting to the couples about making it to the penultimate week of the competition as well as discussing what they had planned for their first two-dance live show this coming Saturday (December 9).
