Gary Neville disagrees with Erik ten Hag on two Manchester United decisions vs Man City

Erik ten Hag was left frustrated at the way Manchester City got back into the derby on Sunday after his side conceded to a stunning Phil Foden strike in the second half.

Having frustrated the hosts in a fast-paced first 45 that included Marcus Rashford sending United ahead with a thunderbolt of his own, it took a moment of magic from Foden to unlock Ten Hag's defence. Finally finding a strike good enough to beat what had been a defiant Andre Onana until then, City levelled the game before piling on the pressure and running out 3-1 winners.

However, Ten Hag was left furious with the way his team found themselves facing Foden's shot from outside the box. Having been on a direct attack of their own just moments earlier, United were left red-faced after Rashford tumbled during a battle with Kyle Walker on the edge of the City area.

Ten Hag picked up a yellow card for his own demonstrations, and added after the game that, "it's very debatable. There was contact. A very defining moment in the game."

Speaking on commentary, though, Gary Neville felt that there was nothing to complain about. "Manchester United are asking for a foul on Marcus Rashford, but as the ball comes over to Phil Foden, [Victor] Lindelof does not do enough," he said.

Ex-Premier League referee Mike Dean agreed. "There’s an arm on an arm, but when the way he goes down, the contact and the way he goes down, it’s just not a foul and it is the correct decision," he said.

Micah Richards felt the same. "No, it's not a foul," he said.

Ten Hag was also angered by a tackle from City goalkeeper Ederson on Antony before Foden eventually gave City
