Fofana, Vardy, Castagne - Leicester City injury news ahead of Rennes trip
Leicester City take a 2-0 advantage to France with them as they look to make it through to the quarter final of the Europa Conference League on Thursday. Goals from Marc Albrighton and Kelechi Iheanacho in the first leg at the King Power Stadium means that City take on Rennes having done half the job.
There could be another boost for City ahead of the game too as defender Wesley Fofana could make his long-awaited return from injury. The central defender has been out of action for seven months since suffering a major injury in the final pre-season friendly vs Villarreal.
He put a pen to paper on a new contract last week and could now celebrate further by making his first appearance back in his homeland. Here is the latest on Fofana and City's other injury news ahead of the trip to Rennes on Thursday.
: Broken leg and ankle ligament damage
The defender was due to return in last week's Europa Conference League home leg vs Rennes, but a positive Covid test last week delayed his return.

"(Rennes) will be the first game hopefully he'll be available for, but we just have to assess that between now and then."
The City boss also said that the defender was not suffering from any symptoms from the virus.
"He's fine, you see lots of cases like it where people without even feeling they had symptoms have tested positive. "He is getting physical work in, and we'll take it from there."
