Erik ten Hag has been given a new Manchester United selection problem vs Wolves after Dortmund game

Dalot's timely reminder

This was Diogo Dalot's first start of pre-season and if he needed a performance he produced one, delivering a timely reminder of his quality to Erik ten Hag.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka ended last season as first-choice right-back and he's held that status this summer, but as good as he was in the second half of last season, there remains a sense Dalot is the more likely long-term bet.

That's reinforced by the fact that it was Dalot who signed a new five-year contract in May, while Wan-Bissaka has just a year left to run on his deal, although United have an option of another year.
