Eintracht Frankfurt confirm Randal Kolo Muani transfer stance amid Manchester United interest

Eintracht Frankfurtdirector of football Markus Krosche has confirmed that the German club is not in a position where it must sell Manchester United target Randal Kolo Muani this summer.

The striker is being monitored by the Reds ahead of the transfer window opening for business as they continue to put plans in place to strengthen their attacking options. Kolo Muani has scored 23 goals in 45 appearances for Frankfurt this season, making him one of the most sought-after goal-getters in Europe.

Kolo Muani joined the Bundesliga outfit from Nantes on a free transfer last summer after running down his contract at the French club. He has enjoyed an excellent debut campaign in Germany, highlighted by his impressive goals tally.

Kolo Muani, who was part of the France squad that reached the 2022 World Cup final in Qatar, has also chipped in with 17 assists this season, meaning he has directly contributed to 40 goals in just 45 matches. With such impressive statistics, it is no surprise that United, as well as others, are keeping tabs on him.

However, Krosche has admitted that they are yet to receive any formal offers for his signature ahead of the window opening later this month and that they are not going to be forced into letting go of him. On the flip side, though, Frankfurt will listen to offers if they are attractive enough.

Krosche, speaking to FAZ.NET, said: "There may already be one or two interested parties. But so far there has been no one who has approached us, it is all speculation so far. We don't have to sell him.
