Angry Ebbsfleet boss Josh Wright didn’t hide his frustrations after dropping more points at the weekend.
They were held to a 1-1 draw at Farnborough in a game where they had enough first-half chances to have won it three or four times over.
It means the Fleet have picked up just four points from their last four National League South games, a run that included a 2-1 home loss to Horsham on Tuesday night.
“I'm a bit heated and I don't mind it because I protected them on Tuesday night,” fumed Wright. “I was disappointed Tuesday night and I probably went a little bit light on them because we let our standards drop on Tuesday night.
“But how I'm standing here talking to you guys now with a 1-1 draw, with only a point out of the game…
“I'd love to see if anyone, any side in the country, especially this league, had that many chances in one half, and we should have been out of sight.
“I kept my cool at half-time and told them to continue doing it, but no disrespect to Farnborough (as) I say they wouldn't be as poor, but we wouldn't have that dominance and territory second half.
“It’s a massive two points dropped because we should have been out of sight. I can't keep coming on here and saying that.
“All week we work on getting openings and getting into areas… but the dominance and the opportunities that we create, we should be, I don't want to put a figure on it, but off the top of my head, we should have a minimum of eight to ten more goals this season, maybe, probably more, probably 12 and that's being a little bit generous. Those goals give us a lot more points.
“I am angry, I'm not going to shy away from that or lie, I expect more in terms of the chances that we've created.
“We have to score goals, we have to take chances
