Dundee vs Rangers rearranged fixture date revealed as it goes after blockbuster title showdown

Rangers' trip to Dens Park has been rearranged for April 10 - days after their huge Old Firm derby showdown.

Dundee came under fire after the original fixture on Sunday was postponed - the FOURTH time a match has fallen victim to the weather at the Tayside ground this season. The SPFL have now squeezed it in next month in what will now be the penultimate game before the Scottish Premiership split with Sky Sports showing it live. The match will kick-off at 8pm under the lights at Dens Park.

Philippe Clement's Light Blues host fierce rivals Celtic at Ibrox Stadium on April 7 and it means they will likely go into that game second in the table, with the Hoops travelling to bottom side Livingston the weekend before crossing the city and Rangers hosting Hibs.

And it's the second midweek trip for the Light Blues to Dens Park with the last one also surrounded in controversy after Rangers arrived late due to the team bus getting caught up in heavy traffic and then the match itself held up when pyro set off by the visiting support trigged a smoke alarm.
