Coronation Street star Tina O'Brien stuns with lookalike actress daughter in glam red carpet display

Coronation Street star Tina O'Brien looked stunning as she walked the red carpet alongside her lookalike daughter on Friday night.

The Manchester actress attended the Royal Television Society North West Awards 2023 with her 14-year-old daughter Scarlett Thomas by her side. Tina, who plays Sarah Platt on the ITV soap, shares Scarlett with her ex, former Corrie star Ryan Thomas, who is set to appear in the upcoming series of Dancing On Ice.

Scarlett has followed in the footsteps of her parents and is currently starring as Izzy Charles in the BBC's Waterloo Road - alongside her uncle Adam Thomas. The teen actress looked like a natural as she posed for the cameras next to her mum.

Tina, who turned 40 this year, wore an elegant long red gown with a high neck and a thigh split, showing off her toned legs and a pointed pair of black stilettos with a gold strap around the ankle. She wore her blonde hair in loose curls and opted for a red lip to compliment her bold dress.

Scarlett, who fans have said is the 'double' of her Corrie star mum, opted for a long glittery black dress, which she paired with a subtle silver necklace and a similar pair of black shoes to her mum.

The girls were joined by stars of both Waterloo Road and Coronation Street as they attended the glitzy event, held at the Kimpton Clocktower Hotel in Manchester. The awards ceremony was hosted by TV presenters Gaby Roslin and OJ Borg.
