Coronation Street's Tina O'Brien told 'well done' in praise for clap back to sex-shaming remark

Coronation Street star Tina O'Brien has been praised by fans after she clapped back at a sex-shaming comment towards her on-screen character. The actress and the ITV soap did some reminiscing recently over Sarah Barlow's string of 'bad romances' from over the years.

It saw Tina reminded of all of her character's relationships and was able to add her own commentary about what happened and what she thought about them, as well as sharing anecdotes from the time - starting with Sarah getting pregnant at 13 with school friend Neil Fearns, all the way to now as she remains loved-up with bad boy Damon Hay after their affair.

As Corrie shared pictures of Tina as Sarah with the Underworld manager's string of partners from over the years on social media, it appears the soap star couldn't help but respond to one particular comment as fans had their say over the character's love life.

One person commented in response to Sarah’s string of lovers from over the years: "She needs to learn to keep her legs close." Tina then jokingly replied: "I agree, It’s always a good idea to keep your legs close by in case you need them."

And the 40-year-old was quickly flooded with replies in response. @cassandrametamortgages said: "Well done." @simoneking1369 commented: "Brilliant response." @hannahtomlinson94x added: "This is brilliant."
