Coronation Street fans compare Alya Nazir to Fiz Stape after tell-tale clue as they make complaint

Coronation Street fans found themselves comparing Alya Nazir to Fizz Dobbs - nee Stape - after spotting a tell-tale clue that she's trying to hide something during her latest scenes.

The character was seen in Weatherfield during Monday night's (February 19) trip to the cobbles as she continued working at Adam Barlow's solicitors' office. While at work, Alya joked with Dee-Dee Bailey after she found a receipt belonging to her love-up beau Joel Deering.

It was from a jeweller, dated December, for hundreds of pounds and Alya and Adam couldn't help but tease whether he was planning to pop the question to Dee-Dee. But as Joel calls at the solicitors to find the trio discussing the receipt, Joel was quick to make out he bought himself some cufflinks.

Alya jokes about his expensive taste. and Dee-Dee quickly tried to tell her partner that she wasn't the one thinking he'd bought her an engagement ring. Later, as Alya later heads out she spots Joel in a car being driven by a sullen-looking woman, her suspicions mount and she later told Adam she wasn't sure she believed Joel.

Over at the Bistro, Alya was witness to Dee-Dee and Joel's loved-up display but as they left for a cinema date, Alya shared her concerns with Toyah Habeeb who also confirmed she'd seen Joel in the Bistro when he had an angry confrontation with another woman.

But as Alya's scenes unfolded in the Bistro, Corrie fans couldn't help but be distracted by actress Sair Khan as she continues filming while pregnant with her first child after announcing she was expecting with her partner
