Charles De Ketelaere to Leicester City transfer latest as Foxes 'planning' summer move

Leicester City are reportedly planning to make a move for Belgian striker Charles De Ketelaere when the transfer window opens at the end of the season.

The young forward is highly rated at Club Brugge after breaking into the first team in the 2019/20 season. He has gone on to make a total of 113 appearances for the club so far, scoring 25 goals and providing 19 assists. De Ketelaere has also broken into the Belgian squad, where he plays alongside City midfielder Youri TIelemans and defender Timothy Castagne.

Previous reports claim the Foxes are in 'pole position' for a summer transfer of De Ketelaere when the window opens next month.

According to Italian outlet Il Mattino, City are leading both Napoli and Milan in the race for the 21-year-old with it claiming that City 'seems' to be in 'pole position' should Brugge decide to sell in the window. The report also suggests that the Premier League is 'looming' with the player preferring a move to England.
