Celtic transfer news latest as Caoimhin Kelleher 'desire' sees price tag set while Adam Idah ignites theories

Former Liverpool star Glen Johnson reckons his former club will demand a whopping £35million to sell Caoimhin Kelleher amid links with Celtic.

With Joe Hart retiring at the end of the campaign, Brendan Rodgers is on the look-out for a new No. 1 - with Irish international Kelleher consistently being linked with a move to the Scottish Premiership champions. Having acted as Alisson's Anfield understudy in recent seasons, the 25-year-old has admitted he wants to be a first-choice goalkeeper next season - even if that means leaving Anfield.

Nottingham Forest are also said to be chasing a deal, and Johnson reckons that £35million would not be "an awful lot" for a potential suitor to pay out for Kelleher, telling Betfred: “To be honest, £35million isn’t an awful lot nowadays for a player. But Celtic fans reckon he has dropped a major hint over a potential
