Ianis Hagi 'magic' fires Rangers boss Philippe Clement reminder while Jermain Defoe shows transfer love – Ibrox bulletin

Ianis Hagi has sent a timely reminder to Rangers boss Philippe Clement after a key role in Romania's qualification to the Euro 2024 last 16.

But his performance impressed former Celtic striker Dion Dublin on BBC pundit duty, who highlighted three key assets of the playmaker while admitting he has that piece of 'magic' that can turn a game so was surprised he was hooked after 66 minutes. He said: "I think he's skilful, determined and got a really good head on his shoulders. I believe he's done his bit tonight. I probably wouldn't have taken him off because he's got that little bit of magic that can turn the game. But he's played his part."

Meanwhile, one former Rangers star has made a return to the English Premier League. Wes Foderingham suffered relegation with Sheffield United last term from England's top league but he's back in the big time after being handed a two-year deal with West Ham on a free.

The move attracted the attention of former Hammers striker and Ibrox veteran Jermain Defoe who sent a two word message to the 33-year-old when the news broke. In reply to West Ham's Instagram post that tagged both the EPL outfit and Foderingham, Defoe replied: "Love this." alongside a fire emoji
